Where will the application program reside?

Everything resides on the server. When you visit the website (which is on the server), it will work with your computer coordinating what work your PC does and what work the server does. This is standard web practice.

Who will set-up the server?

If your company has a server available and suited to this purpose, we can coordinate with your IT people to install the program. Otherwise, we can get you an account with a web hosting service - we'll take care of all that.

What is a Smart data entry form?

Each field in our online data entry form may incorporate programming that validates the user's entry prior to its acceptance into the database. For example, certain characters may be disallowed, the entry must meet a certain format (e.g., phone numbers, zip codes etc), or the entry may be cross-checked against other fields to ensure the entry makes sense within its context.

Who owns the programming?

You will. It will be on your server or under your account at a hosting service once the project is completed.

What about maintenance and updates?

Once the web application is up and running, you can engage Mohawk Web Pages to make updates or otherwise provide additional services, or you are free to engage another web professional.
