Video can contain anything you can shoot with a video camera. However, video makes it much easier to edit-in content, such as snippets from another video or still shots from a digital camera. In fact, a video can be comprised entirely of edited-in content without any input from a camera.
Video can be shown in web-sites on a virtual player that has viewer controls such as pause, play, rewind, and volume. Or it can be displayed as just another part of a web-page with no viewer controls.
Ideas for using video include:
We utilize flash video format for displaying video. This is the same format used by YouTube. It has 2 big advantages: 1. Essentially, flash video streams to the viewer so the video starts almost immediately while the video file continues to download, and 2. the capability for playing flash video is a built in feature for the vast majority of PCs (and Macs). And don't worry, our flash videos will look much sharper than what you might be accustomed to viewing on YouTube.
We can convert most digital video formats to flash video as part of our web-page design work. However, if your video is on vhs tape, you'll need to have it converted to disk - dvd format is acceptable, but the following are the preferred video formats: avi mpg1 mpg2 mov mp4 .
We can handily turn a series of your digital photos into a video similar to the sample video, below.
We can add any digitized music in light of copyright law, please do not ask us to obtain or hack any copyrighted material for your web-site you provide to it as well (wav or mp3).
